Assam AEn vacancies are announced by Assam public service commission through advertisement (ADVT NO. 06/2020). On 19th August, 2020 for Assistant engineers (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) in Irrigation and Public health department. In irrigation departments

Eligibility criteria, Educational Qualification and Age limit

Assam Public service commission has announces Assam AEn vacancies for two different departments simultaneously. And they are as follows:

Eligibility criteria,

In every category candidate should be a permanent resident of Assam. He should produce permanent residence certificate or other proof of Assam residency prescribed by the government.

Educational Qualification

1 Irrigation Department Assam (Cadre-1) Candidate should hold B.Tech degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical. Degree should be obtained from an institute recognized by AICTE. B.   Degree obtained through distance education will not be acceptable
2 Public health Department Candidate should hold B.Tech degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electricalor Chemical. Degree should be obtained from an institute recognized by govt. Degree obtained through distance education will not be acceptable.Apart from English, the candidate should have knowledge of at least one Assamese language.
3 Irrigation Department Assam (Cadre-2) Candidate should have passed three years diploma course in the concerned engineering discipline. Diploma obtained through distance education will not be acceptable.

Age limit

In all the three categories age limit is as follows. Candidate should be minimum of 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2020. The upper age limit is relaxable for 5years, for SC/ST 3 years for OBC/MOBC and for Persons with disabilities (PWD) for 10 years.

Last date of application

Candidates can apply in offline as well as in online mode. Candidates have to apply online fromwww.apsc.nic.in website. Last date for accepting the offline application is 22nd September, 2020.
