BPSC to Recruit 255 Assistant Engineers (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical)

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has started inviting online applications for the posts of Assistant Engineers (AE) in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical fields of various departments of the Bihar state government.

Eligibility Criteria
The age limits for general category candidates is a minimum of 21 years age and maximum of 37 years as on 2 June, 2020. For female candidates, the maximum age limit is 40 years. There is relaxation in maximum age limit for candidates belonging to various categories.

Application Fee
The last date of online submission of applications for BPSC-AE 2020 exam is 2 June, 2020. The application fee for Gen/OBC/EWS/EBC is Rs. 750/- , and for SC/ ST candidates it is Rs. 200/-. Candidates have to make the online payment of application fee by 25 May, 2020.

BPSC Assistant Engineer 2020 Exam Pattern
The BPSC-AE Exam consists of 6 papers, 4 of which are Compulsory papers while the other two papers are optional, in which candidate have to select one subject from the given three options. Each paper is of 100 Marks. Candidates need to attempt every section. All the questions of compulsory as well as optional papers will be Objective type. No marks will be deducted for un-attempted question.
