The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has postponed the date for conducting written exam for Combined State Engineering Services 2020 recruitment drive for the post of Assistant Engineers till further notice. The UPPSC-AE 2019 Exam was scheduled to be held on 07 June, 2020. As per the official UPPSC notification, the fresh date of exam would be released later on at an appropriate time.
The numbers of COVID-19 positive cases are rising continuously, and the Uttar Pradesh state government has taken this decision to postpone the exam to prevent the spread of this Coronavirus further, and avoid the state from going into an alarming phase.
By conducting this State level engineering services exam, UPPSC is likely to fill a total of 692 vacancies out of which 669 vacancies will be filled from Civil, Mechanical and Electrical branches.
