How to Achieve Success in ESE 2019 Mains

The ESE 2019 Mains exam is scheduled to be conducted on 30th of June, 2019 by Union Public Services Commission (UPSC). With ESE 2019, UPSC is looking forward to fill around 581 seats in various sectors of the Indian government.

The ESE Mains stage includes answering two subjective or conventional question papers that will be conducted in different sessions. The paper-1 and 2 are of Engineering Discipline each of 3 hours duration, and each carrying 300 marks. The Mains stage is considered to be very important as a candidate’s performance in this stage is going to be the determining factor for deciding the final ranking. An engineering student aspiring for ESE 2019 needs to follow a meticulously planned preparation strategy to gain success in ESE 2019.

IES Master, an institute for engineers having branches in Delhi and Noida that offers quality coaching for ESE and GATE, has come up with a unique preparation strategy for ESE 2019 Mains. This unique preparation methodology includes Conventional Question Practice Program (CQPP). The CQPP program includes:

1) Conventional Classroom Practice Program
2) Conventional Question Practice Test (CQPT)

The Conventional Classroom Practice Program is designed to help ESE 2019 aspirants get conceptual clarity on certain topics. Under this program, students are provided with a booklet containing two set of questions, each having concepts on which questions can be asked in the ESE 2019 Mains. Students need to practice the questions given in this booklet – first set of questions will be discussed in classroom, whereas second set of questions are for practice by students at home. After successful completion of all the practice questions, a test is conducted.

Postal Program

The second part of CQPP i.e. Conventional Question Practice Test (CQPT) is available in both offline and online modes. Under this part of the study program students are provided with a schedule of tests. In this program, all the ESE 2019 Mains appearing students will learn new topics along with recalling the topics that they have learned so far. During each test, questions from certain important topics will be asked. After the completion of one or two tests, questions on topics already covered will again be asked. This will help candidates in revising the topics along with their preparation of all the subjects.

Special counselling sessions to help students write their answers effectively will also be conducted on a regular basis. During these sessions, ESE 2019 aspirants will be taught how to select questions, manage time while writing exam, and develop speed and accuracy.

Admissions to new batches of CQPP for session 2019-19 are going on. The next batches are starting from 5 March, 2019. As limited seats are available for this session, candidates should hurry to register for CQPP.
