IIT Delhi Adds Biomedical as the 25th Paper in GATE 2020

The GATE 2020 exam would be conducted on 01, 02, 08, and 9 February, 2020 by IIT Delhi. As per the official notification, GATE 2020 would be conducted in two sessions – Forenoon session (09:30 am to 12:30 pm) and Afternoon session (02:30 pm to 05:30 pm).

The GATE 2020 exam can be taken by students of 25 engineering streams (after including the newly added Biomedical Engineering paper) who want to do master’s and direct doctoral programmes in engineering, technology, architecture and in other branches of science from various IITs and Indian Institute of Science (IISc). Engineering students aspiring to pursue their engineering career through Public Sector Undertaking companies (PSUs) too can write GATE as most of the PSUs consider GATE score while recruiting suitable candidate.

The newly added paper Biomedical Engineering (BM) will include Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Circuits, Signals and Systems, Analog and Digital Electronics, Measurements and Control Systems, Sensors and Bioinstrumentation, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Biomechanics, Medical Imaging Systems, and Biomaterials as topics.
