NTPC to Recruit 207 Engineering Executive Trainees through GATE 2019

National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Limited, which is a Maharatna Public Sector Unit (PSU) and one of the country’s largest power companies, has announced its recruitment plan for inducting 207 Engineering Executive Trainees on the basis of GATE 2019 scores. The young graduate engineering executive trainees will be recruited from Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation and Mining streams. The details about stream-wise vacancies by NTPC is as below:

  • Electrical – 47 Posts
  • Mechanical – 95 Posts
  • Electronics – 25 Posts
  • Instruction – 25 Posts
  • Mining – 15 Posts

According to the official NTPC notification, the Maharatna PSU will start inviting online applications for this recruitment drive from 10 January, 2019. The last date for online submission of applications will be 31 January, 2019. NTPC will shortlist eligible candidates on the basis of their GATE 2019 score as well as overall percentage in BE/B.Tech. Therefore, before presenting your candidature for this hiring drive by NTPC, candidates are required to carefully read the details when they will be announced by NTPC.

The shortlisted candidates will further be subjected to undergo Online Behavioural / Aptitude Test, which will be followed by Group Discussion and Interview.
