Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL or POWERGRID), a Navratna conglomeration and the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) of India, is going to recruit 150 Assistant Engineer Trainees (E1 Trainee level) from Electrical, Electronics, Civil and Computer Science disciplines. The recruitment for these posts will be on basis of GATE 2017 score. Of the 150 posts, 100 vacancies are for Electrical stream, 20 for Electronics, 20 for Civil, and 10 posts for Computer Science engineering graduates having GATE 2017 score.
Power Grid will start accepting online applications for this recruitment drive from 27 January, 2018. The online application portal will end on 17 February, 2018. While presenting their candidature, eligible candidates have to mention their GATE 2017 registration number and other required information.
Power Grid will shortlist suitable candidates on the basis of their marks out of 100 in relevant paper of GATE 2017, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
