The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has announced its recruitment drive regarding hiring Group A & Group B of Assistant Engineers and Assistant Executive Engineers through MPSC Engineering Service Exam 2020.

The Maharashtra State PSC will start accepting online applications from eligible candidates from 18 March, 2020. The last date of receiving online applications will be 7 April, 2020.

GPSC to Recruit 350 Assistant Engineers – Civil

Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has announced its recruitment drive for hiring Assistant Engineers (Civil) in the Class-2, Narmada, Water Resources, Water Supply and Kalpsar department. The State Commission will be recruiting 350 Assistant Engineers through this recruitment.

The online application process starts on 15 October, 2019 and will go on till 04 November, 2019.

Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil) or Technology (Civil) obtained from any of the Universities or institutions established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institutions recognized as such or declared to be a deemed University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. (2) are eligible to apply for the examination. The eligible age limit for this recruitment drive is minimum of 20 years and maximum of 35 years as on 4 November, 2019.

The selection procedure will include Preliminary exam and Interview, carrying equal weightage in the final selection. The Preliminary exam will be of 300 marks, and will include two sections, General Knowledge (100 marks) and Engineering Ability (200 marks), with 100 and 200 questions, respectively. The candidates who qualify the Preliminary exam will have to appear in the Personality Test (Interview) which carries 100 marks. The preliminary exam will be conducted tentatively in the month of February 2020. The result of this exam will be announced in the month of April 2020, and the tentative month of interview is August 2020. JPSC Announces Recruitment Drive for 637 Assistant Engineers (AE)

Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has announced its recruitment drive for hiring Assistant Engineers (Civil and Mechanical Engineering) in the Water Resources & Sanitation and the Road Construction departments. The State Commission will be recruiting 637 Assistant Engineers through this recruitment, 542 from Civil engineering stream and 95 from Mechanical stream.

The online application process starts on 15 October, 2019 and will go on till 11 November, 2019.

BPSC Assistant Engineer Prelims 2019 Results Announced

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the results of Assistant Engineer (AE) Civil Prelims examination. Students who appeared in BPSC AE Prelims 2019 exam on 15 September, 2018 can check their result on the official website of BPSC i.e. bpsc.nic.in.

Along with the results, BPSC has also released the final Answer Key of General paper for AE prelims exam sets A, B, C, and D on its official website.

As per BPSC official records, a total of 17, 865 candidates took the BPSC AE Prelims exam. Out of this total number, 10,106 candidates qualified the prelims stage. All the Prelims qualified candidates will now write the BPSC AE Mains exam that is scheduled to be conducted in the last week of March, 2019. The final date will be announced later. For final selection, candidates have to successfully clear all the three stages i.e. BPSC AE Prelims, BPSC AE Mains, and Interview.

Cut-off Marks of BPSC AE Prelims 2019

For BPSC AE Prelims 2019 exam the cut-off marks for general category is 66 marks, and for female general, SC, and disabled categories the cut-off is 47 marks. For ST, EBC, and BC categories, the cut-offs are 54 marks, 48 marks, and 56 marks, respectively.

BPSC Announces AE (Civil and Mechanical) Prelims Exam Dates

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the preliminary exam dates for the posts of Assistant Engineers (AE) in Civil and Mechanical fields of various departments of the Bihar state government. The BPSC Prelims exam for AE (Civil and Mechanical) posts would be held on 15th and 16th September, 2018.

BPSC Prelims exam would include 150 objective questions, of which 100 questions would be on Basic Engineering and 50 questions would be on General Studies. Each question will carry 1 mark i.e. the total marks of BPSC Prelims exam for AE (Civil and Mechanical) would be 150 marks. The duration of the Prelims exam would be three hours. All the applicants can download their BPSC AE Prelims exam Admit Card one week before the exam.

BPSC is going to fill 1,284 civil engineering posts, and 110 mechanical engineering posts in the various departments of Bihar government.

The BPSC will select the candidates on the basis of the Preliminary exam, Main exam and interview round.
