ISRO to Recruit 327 Scientist Engineers
The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has started inviting online applications from meritorious engineering graduates for the posts of Scientist Engineers (SC) in ISRO Centre’s (Group ‘A’ Gazetted posts) and in Autonomous Body (Group ‘A’ Non-Gazetted posts). The online application process starts on 15 October, 2019 and will go on till 4 November, 2019.
ISRO will be only accepting those applications that are made online. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an online Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. It is mandatory for all the applicants to provide their E-mail ID while applying online.
There are 327 vacancies of Scientist Engineers from Electronics, Mechanical, and Computer Science streams. The branch-wise break-up of the vacancies is as under:
- Scientist Engineer (Electronics) : 131 Posts (ISRO Centre – Gazetted)
- Scientist Engineer (Mechanical): 135 Posts (ISRO Centre – Gazetted)
- Scientist Engineer (Computer Science): 58 Posts (ISRO Centre – Gazetted)
POSOCO to Recruit Executive Trainees through GATE 2019
Power System Operation Corporation Limited (POSOCO) has announced its plan to recruit Executive Trainees (ETs) in the Electrical (EE) and Computer Science (CS) disciplines on the basis of GATE 2019 scores. POSOCO is a Government of India Enterprise that comes under the Ministry of Power. The prime objective of this enterprise is to manage the nation’s power system operations.
POSOCO will start inviting online applications from eligible candidates from 16 September, 2018. The last date of online submission of applications is 15 October, 2018.
Eligibility
As per the official POSOCO recruitment notification, engineering students from Electrical (EE) and Computer Science and Information Technology (CS) disciplines with a minimum of 65% marks or equivalent CGPA can apply for this post. Final year/semester students from these engineering streams can also apply for this post, provided their results are announced by 14 August, 2019, and they have obtained 65% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate of all semesters/years up to the pre-final examination. Also, all the interested candidates should possess a valid GATE 2019 score. Students holding GATE 2018 score or prior are not eligible for this recruitment drive. The upper age limit for this post is 28 years as on 31 July, 2019.
Selection Process
The selection process that POSOCO is going to adopt for this recruitment drive includes considering the marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding paper of GATE 2019, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview. Only GATE 2019 qualified candidates will be considered for the next rounds of selection.
All the selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 60,000-1,80,000 and other allowances, and benefits as applicable, during the one-year training period. All the successful candidates are required to sign a service agreement bond for at least three years before going for training.
