Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has announced its recruitment drive for hiring Assistant Engineers (Civil and Mechanical Engineering) in the Water Resources & Sanitation and the Road Construction departments. The State Commission will be recruiting 637 Assistant Engineers through this recruitment, 542 from Civil engineering stream and 95 from Mechanical stream.

BPSC Assistant Engineer Prelims 2019 Results Announced
The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the results of Assistant Engineer (AE) Civil Prelims examination. Students who appeared in BPSC AE Prelims 2019 exam on 15 September, 2018 can check their result on the official website of BPSC i.e. bpsc.nic.in.
Along with the results, BPSC has also released the final Answer Key of General paper for AE prelims exam sets A, B, C, and D on its official website.
MPRDC to Recruit Manager (Technical) through GATE 2018
Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation Ltd. (MPRDC) is hiring engineers from Civil stream as Manager (Technical) on the basis of GATE 2018 score. Besides valid GATE 2018 score, the applicant should hold a B.E. /B.Tech. degree in Civil Engineering from AICTE approved institute with minimum 60% for UR/OBC, and 50% for SC/ST. The maximum age limit for this post is 25 years as on 01 January, 2018.
WBSEDCL to Recruit Assistant Engineer through GATE 2019
West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) has announced its hiring plan of Assistant Engineers from Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, and Information Technology/ Computer Science streams on the basis of GATE 2019 scores.
The recruitment would be made only on the basis of valid GATE 2019 score. Therefore, interested candidates can only apply once they have downloaded their GATE 2019 Admit Card from GOAPS.
DDA to Recruit AEE (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) through GATE 2019
Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is going to recruit Assistant Executive Engineers (AEE) through GATE 2019. Engineering graduates from Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical streams can build their career in DDA through this recruitment drive. A total of 14 vacancies would be filled through this recruitment drive by DDA. As per the official DDA notification, of the total 14, 11 vacancies will be from Civil branch, and 3 from Electrical and Mechanical streams.
NPCIL to Hire Engineering Graduate as Executive Trainees through GATE 2019
Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), a Government of India enterprise, has announced its plan to recruit engineering graduates as Executive Trainees (ET-2019) through GATE 2019 scores.
This recruitment drive would be applicable for engineering students from Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, and Instrumentation streams. Candidates interested in joining NPCIL can register online for GATE 2019 through GOAPS. The GATE online application process (GOAPS) has commenced from 01 September, 2018, and will continue till 21 September, 2018.
DRDO Announces Plan for Direct Recruitment of Scientists through GATE 2019
Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has released its notification announcing its direct recruitment drive for vacancies of Scientist ‘B’ for the year 2019. DMRC Removes GATE Score from Eligibility Criteria
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has removed GATE score as the mandatory requirement from the eligibility criteria of its ongoing recruitment drive. With this revision in eligibility criteria, engineering students with just BE/ BTech qualification can now apply for around 2,000 recently announced vacancies in Delhi Metro. The various posts that were announced in January 2018 are Junior Engineer, Assistant Manager, Assistant Programmer, Legal Assistant, Fire Inspector, Librarian, Maintainer, Office Assistant and Store Assistant.
