ESE 2020 E-ADMIT CARD RELEASED

The UPSC has released ESE MAINS 2020 Admit card on 22nd September, 2020. Students can download the ESE 2020 ADMIT CARD directly from UPSC website. Following are the steps to be download the admit card.

  • On the homepage, click on the link that reads, “e-admit card for Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2020’
  • A new page will appear on the display screen, a new link will be flashed, Click on the link to download the admit card
  • Read the instructions and proceed and select any of the given option between roll number and registration.
  • Key in your credentials and login

The UPSC ESE admit card 2020 will be displayed on the screen, Download the admit card and take its print out for future use.

ESE MAINS EXAM RESHEDULED FOR SECOND TIME

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has revised the dates again (second time) for conducting Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2020 Mains. As per the revised UPSC calendar (issued on 14th July, 2020), the ESE 2020 Mains exam would now be conducted on 18th October, 2020.

Commission has postponed the UPSC ESE Mains 2020 again, along with other UPSC exams that were scheduled to be conducted in forthcoming period. Earlier, the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) Mains 2020 was scheduled to be conducted on 28th June, 2020, which for the first time was rescheduled for 09th August, 2020. Now as confirmed by UPSC, the exam is rescheduled to be conducted on 18th October, 2020.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the revised date for conducting Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2020 Mains. As per the revised UPSC calendar, the ESE 2020 Mains exam would now be conducted on 09 August, 2020.

Earlier, the ESE Mains 2020 was scheduled to be conducted on 28 June, 2020. However, to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the country, the Commission had to postpone the UPSC ESE Mains 2020, along with other UPSC exams that were scheduled to be conducted in coming months.

CQPP – The Best Preparation Strategy for ESE 2020 Mains

The selected candidates will be absorbed as Class-1 officers in various Government of India departments, such as Indian Railways, Central Engineering Service, Indian Ordnance Factories Service, Survey of India, Border Road Engineering Service, Indian Defence Service of Engineers, etc.

On qualifying the ESE 2020 Prelims stage, the qualified candidates will have to mention their preference for services/posts in the Detailed Application Form (DAF). On the basis of their merit position, preferences filled in DAF, and number of vacancies, successful candidates will be allotted to various services/posts, subject to their medical fitness.

ESE 2020 Mains Exam Pattern

The ESE 2020 Mains stage includes writing two subjective or conventional question papers that are conducted in different sessions. The paper-I and paper-II are of Engineering Discipline. Both the papers are of 3 hours duration each, carrying 300 marks each. ESE 2020 Mains exam is considered to be very important stage, a candidate’s performance in this stage is going to decide his or her final ranking in ESE 2020.
