IIT Delhi to Release GATE 2020 Admit Card

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi is going to make available the Admit Card for GATE 2020 today. Candidates, who have registered for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2020 (GATE 2020) through GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS), can download their admit cards today.

GATE 2020, for which, 860,000 candidates have registered, is scheduled to be conducted on 1, 2, 8 and 9 February, 2020 in two shifts – forenoon from 09:30 AM to 12:30 PM and in afternoon from 02:30 PM to 05:30 PM.

Here is how candidates can download GATE 2020 Admit Card or GATE 2020 hall ticket:

  1. Log in to the official website of GOAPS through the URL https://appsgate.iitd.ac.in/
  2. On the page that opens, enter your Enrollment ID / Email Address and Password
  3. Now enter the Captcha code, and then click on the ‘Submit’ button
  4. Now you can download the Admit Card and take a printout of the same for further reference
  5. It is preferred to take colour printout of the GATE 2020 Admit Card as no soft copy will be considered for allowing access to the examination hall

IIT Madras, the organizing body of GATE 2019, has released the GATE 2019 answer keys and question papers for the 24 papers that were conducted on 2, 3, 9 and 10 February 2019.

Here’s how the candidates, who appeared in the GATE 2019, can check the GATE 2019 answer key along with the question papers for their respective disciplines.

  2. On the webpage that opens, you would see all the question papers along with their respective answer keys branch-wise

GATE 2019 Official Response Sheet for Session 1 to 4 Released by IIT Madras

IIT Madras has released the GATE 2019 response sheet for candidates who appeared in the session 1, 2, 3 and 4 of GATE 2019 exam conducted on 2 and 3 February, 2019.

For other sessions, the GATE 2019 response sheet will be released soon. Once the response sheets of all the sessions are released, IIT Madras would release the question paper and official answer key of GATE 2019.

According to IIT Madras, any challenges/objections by candidates on GATE 2019 answer key will be entertained during the third week of February month.

The GATE 2019 results are supposed to be announced by IIT Madras on March 16, 2019.

GATE 2018 Response Sheet

GATE 2018 Official Response Sheet Released

Candidates who have applied for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2018 (GATE 2018) through GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS), can check the response sheet of GATE 2018 for both the sessions i.e. forenoon and afternoon session (9 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm).

IIT Guwahati, the GATE 2018 exam conducting body, has released the GATE 2018 response sheet of all the candidates who wrote GATE 2018 on February 03, 04, 10 & 11, 2018. Candidates can check the response sheets for GATE 2018 by logging into their GOAPS portal.

The question paper and answer key for all the 23 subjects will be available soon on the official website of GATE 2018. The GATE 2018 response sheet will help candidates in checking and verifying their answers to the questions asked in GATE 2018. Once the GATE 2018 answer key is released then candidates can tally their answers with the answers provided by various subject experts. This will enable candidates in getting a rough idea about their GATE 2018 score and GATE 2018 rank.

Admission open 2018-19

The candidates can also raise their objections if any, along with proofs within a time frame once the GATE 2018 answer key is officially released by IIT Guwahati. After considering all the objections raised by candidates within the stipulated time frame, IIT Guwahati will release the final GATE 2018 result for each paper and session-wise on March 17, 2018.

GATE 2018: Change Examination City/Centre

Those candidates who had applied for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2018 (GATE 2018) through GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS), and now wish to change the examination centre/city, can do so by logging into the GOAPS portal.

Once they login, they can change the choices of examination city by paying a fee of Rs. 400.

Candidates can change the examination centre/city to write GATE 2018 anytime from 13 November, 2017 to 17 November, 2017.

The GATE 2018 is scheduled to be conducted on 3, 4 February and 10, 11 February, 2018 by Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IIT G).

Application Correction Window for GATE 2018 Opens

Candidates who have applied for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2018 (GATE 2018) through GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS), and wish to make some minor amendments such as their gender, category, and PwD status in their GATE 2018 application, can do so by logging into the GOAPS portal.

Once they login, they have to click on the ‘Change Personal Data’ button, make all the required changes, click on the ‘Submit’ button, and then make the payment of additional fee to complete the application correction process.

The details of GATE 2018 application correction fee are:
• Rs.750/- for gender change (not applicable for SC/ST and PwD candidates)
• Rs. 750/- for change in Category from SC/ST to Gen/OBC or vice-versa (not applicable for Female and PwD candidates)
• Rs. 750/- for change in PwD status change from PwD to non-PwD (not applicable for Female and SC/ST candidates)
