Hello everyone, I am Mahesh Singh Yadav. I secured All India Rank 10 in GATE 2019. I did my B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from YMCA University Faridabad in 2018. I was part of IES Master Test Series program. Test series are always helpful, and the test series of IES Master is up to the level of GATE.
GATE exam is the entry ticket for engineering students to fulfill their dream goals of getting higher education from top IITs or NITs, or getting recruited by top PSUs. Therefore, in the first quarter of each year, lakhs of engineering students appear for GATE. In the year 2020, the GATE exam would be conducted by IIT Delhi on 1, 2, and 8, 9 February, 2020.
Online Test Series is taken by almost all students aspiring for various competitive exams conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) or any other competitive exams. Engineering Services Examination (ESE) is an exam conducted by UPSC every year to select quality engineers for the country’s top-level engineering posts. The exam is conducted in three phases – ESE Prelims, ESE Mains, and finally the Personality Test. As the standard of this exam is very high, the competition too is very tough.
Hello everyone, my name is Anshul Goel. I secured AIR-2 in GATE 2019 from Mechanical Engineering. I did my B.Tech. from BITS Pilani. The study material that was provided to me was very concise, and it helped to revise all the parts simultaneously. The syllabus of GATE is very vast. The study material gave me all in a very concise manner. This helped me a lot. The Test Series helped me looking at my weak points to work upon and build confidence, which finally helped me in the final GATE exam.
GATE 2019 results have been announced by IIT Madras. Once again IES Master has exhibited its dominance in GATE results by producing GATE 2019 toppers. Prakhar Singh secured AIR-1 CE place in GATE 2019.
Other students of IES Master that excelled and set new benchmarks in GATE 2019 are Avinash Jain (AIR-2 CE), MUKESH POONIA (AIR-2 EE), Paramjeet Kumar Dubey (AIR-3 CE), Jayesh Atreya (AIR-5 CE), Shreyans Mehta (AIR-7 CE), Vishal Tiku (AIR-9 CE), MAHESH SINGH YADAV (AIR-10 ME) and many others.
Persistent hard work has an uncanny tendency… it surfaces, as it has to… there’s no way out for it, otherwise. Chirag Singla is one such story that UPSC scripted in ESE 2018. Take a sneak peek into the making of this ESE 2018 ranker from NIT Jallandhar.
IES Master: Chirag why did you choose Engineering Services as your career path?
Chirag: Engineering Services is basically a dream job for every engineer as it involves the technical application of knowledge, and I also have good rank in GATE 2018 so I have good technical knowledge so I want to ensure that the field in which I will work I would put in use my good technical knowledge. That’s why I want to join Engineering Services.
Success in ESE, GATE and PSUs demands taking the right decision while choosing mentor or guide, and following the right preparation strategy by all aspirants. In the case of ESE, once the first stage i.e. ESE Prelims is cleared it is very important for an ESE Mains aspirant to stay focussed, as missing the opportunity means waiting for another six to seven months to reach the same stage. Therefore, the main objective of an engineering student going to write ESE Mains is to meet specific goals within a set time period.
