IIT Bombay has announced the dates for Graduate aptitude test engineers 2021 (GATE’2021). The examination will be held in the month of February, 2021 and examination dates are 5th, 6th, 7th, 12th, 13th and 14th February, 2021. The announcement has been made on official website of This year two new subjects have been included in the subject papers and have increased the total subject papers to 27.
This year candidate can opt for two subject papers (from prescribed set of combinations) that exam calendar would permit, unlike till GATE’2020 where candidates were allowed to write only one paper.

Vizag Steel to Hire 664 Junior Trainees

The recruitment process of Junior Trainees will include an Online Based Test of two hours followed by certificate verification and medical examination. Eligible registered candidates will have to appear for Online Computer Based test at the designated centre at their own expense. Candidates have to choose any one city from Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Kakinada, Mumbai, Patna, Ranchi, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, and Vijayanagaram to take the online test.

Admit Card for GATE 2018 Available Now

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has made it available for candidates, who have registered for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2018 (GATE 2018), to download their admit cards. Candidates who have applied for GATE 2018 through GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) can download their admit cards from the official website of GATE 2018.

Here is how candidates can download their GATE 2018 Admit Card:
1. Log on to the official website of GATE through the URL
2. On the homepage, click on the link that says ‘Admit Card’ under the Quick Links box
3. On the page that opens, enter your Enrollment ID / Email Address and Password
4. Now enter the Captcha code, and then click on the ‘Submit’ button
5. Now you can download the Admit Card and take a printout of the same for further reference
6. It is preferred to take colour printout of the GATE 2018 Admit Card as no soft copy will be considered for allowing access to the examination hall

GATE 2018 is scheduled to be conducted by IIT Guwahati on 3, 4 February and 10, 11 February, 2018 in two shifts – forenoon from 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM and in afternoon from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM.

BEL Requires Engineers on Contract Basis

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) invites application from BE/B.Tech students of Electronics (ECE), Mechanical (ME) and Computer Science (CS) streams for the post of Contract Engineers. The contract period of the recruited engineers would be of one year, and the job location would be at one of their units located at Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The last date for online application is 14 June, 2017.

According to the official notification of BEL the upper age limit for interested engineering candidates for BEL PSU recruitment would be 25, 28, and 30 years for General, OBC, and SC/ST categories, respectively. The total number of vacant posts for Contract Engineers is 10, with one post for ECE, four for ME, and five for CS engineering candidates.

During their tenure as Contract Engineers, the engineering candidates from ECE and ME branch will be entitled for an all-inclusive consolidated remuneration of Rs 23,000 per month, whereas those from CS stream would get a monthly salary of Rs 26,500 per month.

The selection procedure would include a written exam having objective type question in respective engineering streams. The written exam would be followed by an interview. Candidates, who wish to apply for the post, can present their candidature for this post online through BEL’s official website only. As per BEL’s notification, no other means or mode of application will be entertained.
