UPSC Announces Dates for ESE 2020

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the date for conducting Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2020. The ESE Prelims 2020 will be conducted on 5 January, 2020 in various test centres across the country. The date for ESE Mains 2020 is 28 June, 2020.

Candidates interested in taking ESE 2020 Prelims can submit their online application by 06:00 PM on 15 October, 2019.

The ESE 2020 would be conducted in three stages. The first stage of ESE 2020 would be ESE Prelims, second stage would be ESE Mains, and the final stage would be personality test. The ESE Prelims would include short listing candidates for ESE Mains on the basis of objective type question papers. The ESE Mains include conventional type question paper. The candidates who would clear both the stages would be finally selected on the basis of personality test or interview.

Details about other eligibility conditions such as age, educational qualification, medical standard, physical standard, etc. and other exam related details, would be released later.

In addition to this, IES Master is also conducting Online Test Series for ESE 2020 Prelims. The ESE 2020 online test series has been designed keeping in mind the ESE 2020 syllabus and exam pattern.

    1. Dear Mr Rakesh, thanks for your comment. I am sorry to say but Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2020 can only be written by engineering graduates from the four core engineering branches i.e. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics.
