How to Achieve Success in ESE 2020 Mains
The ESE 2020 Mains exam is scheduled to be conducted on 28 June, 2020 by Union Public Services Commission (UPSC). With ESE 2020, UPSC is looking forward to fill vacancies in various sectors of the Indian government.
The ESE Mains stage includes answering two subjective or conventional question papers that will be conducted in different sessions. The paper-1 and 2 are of Engineering Discipline each of 3 hours duration, and each carrying 300 marks. The Mains stage is considered to be very important as a candidate’s performance in this stage is going to be the determining factor for deciding the final ranking. An engineering student aspiring for ESE 2020 needs to follow a meticulously planned preparation strategy to gain success in ESE 2020.
IES Master has come up with a unique preparation strategy for ESE 2020 Mains. This unique preparation methodology includes Conventional Question Practice Program (CQPP). The CQPP program includes:
1) Conventional Classroom Practice Program
2) Conventional Question Practice Test (CQPT)
The Conventional Classroom Practice Program is designed to help ESE 2020 aspirants get conceptual clarity on certain topics. Under this program, students are provided with a booklet containing two set of questions, each having concepts on which questions can be asked in the ESE 2020 Mains. Students need to practice the questions given in this booklet – first set of questions will be discussed in classroom, whereas second set of questions are for self-practice by students at their own convenience. After successful completion of all the practice questions, a test is conducted.
The second part of CQPP i.e. Conventional Question Practice Test (CQPT) is available in both offline and online modes. Under this part, students are provided with a schedule of tests. In this program, all the ESE 2020 Mains appearing students will learn new topics along with revising the topics that they had learned so far. During each test, questions from certain important topics will be asked. After the completion of one or two tests, questions on topics already covered will again be asked. This will help candidates in revising the topics along with their preparation of all the subjects.
Special counselling sessions to help students write their answers effectively will also be conducted on a regular basis. During these sessions, ESE 2020 aspirants will learn how to select questions, manage time while writing exam, and develop speed and accuracy while solving numerical problems.
Admissions to new batches of CQPP for session 2020-21 are going on. The next batches are starting from 15 March, 2020. As limited seats are available for this session, candidates should hurry to register for CQPP.
