National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Limited, a Maharatna Public Sector Unit (PSU) and one of the country’s largest power companies, which was going to start accepting online applications for the post of Engineering Executive Trainees (EET-20) on the basis of GATE 2020 score from 10 January, 2020 has now postponed the date.
The new date for accepting online applications from deserving candidates has not been shared by NTPC yet. NTPC will be recruiting young engineering graduates as executive trainees from Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, and Instrumentation branches.
As per the official NTPC notification, the opening of online portal for EET-2020 has been postponed by the PSU till further notice. The details about the total number of vacancies, and stream-wise vacancies too would be announced later by NTPC.
The Maharatna PSU will shortlist eligible candidates on the basis of their GATE 2020 score as well as overall percentage in BE/B.Tech. Therefore, all the interested candidates are required to carefully go through the recruitment details when NTPC announces them.
Depending on the GATE 2020 score, candidates will be shortlisted for writing an Online Aptitude Test. Thereafter, on the basis of performance in the Aptitude Test, candidates will be further shortlisted for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
