UPSC Announces Revised ESE 2020 Mains Exam Date

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the revised date for conducting Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2020 Mains. As per the revised UPSC calendar, the ESE 2020 Mains exam would now be conducted on 09 August, 2020.

Earlier, the ESE Mains 2020 was scheduled to be conducted on 28 June, 2020. However, to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the country, the Commission had to postpone the UPSC ESE Mains 2020, along with other UPSC exams that were scheduled to be conducted in coming months.

The ESE 2020 is scheduled to be conducted in three stages. The first stage of ESE 2020 i.e. ESE Prelims was conducted on 05 January, 2020, the second stage is ESE Mains that has been now postponed, and the final stage would be personality test.

The ESE 2020 Mains exam includes conventional type question papers. The candidates who would clear this second stage would be finally selected on the basis of personality test or interview.
