The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has announced its recruitment drive regarding hiring Group A & Group B of Assistant Engineers and Assistant Executive Engineers through MPSC Engineering Service Exam 2020.
The Maharashtra State PSC will start accepting online applications from eligible candidates from 18 March, 2020. The last date of receiving online applications will be 7 April, 2020.
A total of 217 vacancies are available for the posts of Assistant Executive Engineer and Assistant Engineers. The department and post-wise details of the vacancies are as below:
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma + AMI in Civil Engineering branch from a recognised university. As far as age limit is concerned, the candidates must be minimum 19 years to maximum 38 years of age as on 01 July, 2020. The maximum age limit is relaxed for category students. Candidates can refer the MPSC Official Notification for more details.
Selection Procedure and Exam Pattern
The final list of selected candidates will be prepared on the basis of:
- Maharashtra Engineering Services Preliminary exam of 100 marks
- Maharashtra Engineering Services Main exam of 400 marks
- Interview of 50 marks
The MPSC Engineering Services Prelims Exam will be conducted on 17 May, 2020. The date for MPSC Engineering Services Prelims Exam is 18 October, 2020.
Application Fee
The online application fee for General category candidates is Rs. 374, and for reserved category candidates the fee is Rs. 274.
