The Public Service Commission, West Bengal or PSCWB has announced its recruitment plan through a competitive examination via ADVERTISEMENT NO. – 13/2020 for the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil). The vacancies have been declared for fulfilling the roles of Assistant engineer in following departments.

The examination will be held at one center only (Kolkata) and commission has planned to conduct the exam in two successive stages i.e. written and interview, and is likely to be held in November, or thereabout. Important specifics related to notification have been mentioned below.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR PSCWB

How to apply for Public Service Commission, West Bengal or PSCWB

Exam pattern for Public Service Commission, West Bengal or PSCWB
The examination of PSCWB will be of 300 Marks and to be held in two successive stages (Written Examination & Interview). The written examination will consist of one paperandquestion paper will be of the objective type (multiple choices) comprising 100 questions, and has to be completed in 2 hours.
Break up of 300 Marks
- Written Exam – 200 Marks
- Interview – 100 Marks
Qualifying criteria is at the discretion of commission and that will be announced at the time of results.
