The Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (UPRVUNL) has announced its plan to hire 41 Assistant Engineers (Trainee) from Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics streams. The branch wise vacancy details are: Civil – 13, Mecahnical – 11, Electrical – 8, and Electronics – 6.
UPRVUNL will start accepting online applications from eligible candidates from 07 March, 2020. The last day of submitting online application is 06 April, 2020.
Eligibility
A candidate having full time Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics engineering/technology from a recognized university or institution is eligible to present his candidature for this recruitment drive. The eligible age criteria are minimum 21 years and maximum 40 years as on 01st January, 2020.

Selection Process
The final list of suitable candidates will be prepared on the basis of Prelims CBT (computer-based test), document verification, and interview.
Written Exam Pattern
Duration of CBT exam, having objective type questions, will be 3 hours. There will be in total 200 objective type questions – 150 technical questions and 50 questions on General Hindi, General Knowledge and Reasoning. Each question will carry 1 mark, and there will be negative marking for wrong answers (0.25 marks).
On the basis of marks secured in the CBT exam, candidates will be shortlisted for document verification and interview.
The date of written CBT exam will be communicated later by UPRVUNL. The CBT written test will be conducted in Lucknow, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Noida and Greater Noida cities.
Salary Package
The selected candidates will be entitled to get a salary package of Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 (Level-10).
