UPSC ESE 2021 Mains Result Announced

UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) has declared the final result of ESE 2021. Students can check their result by downloading the PDF file attached below or from the official website of UPSC.

ESE Mains 2021 was conducted on 21st November, 2021. There is one more milestone to be achieved viz. personality test and successful candidates are invited to fill detailed application form (DAF) from 27th December, 2021 to 07th January, 2022 till 06:00 P.M.  UPSC has released the final list of candidates (along with name) of all shortlisted candidates.

As per the UPSC notification, 215 candidates have been recommended for appointment under different disciplines. It includes 86 candidates in Civil Engineering, 32 in Mechanical Engineering, 58 in Electrical Engineering and 39 in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.

The ESE 2021 Final result will be announced on the basis of marks scored in the written exam (ESE 2021 Main) and the subsequent interview/personality test. The allotment of candidates to various Services/Posts shall be made as per the ranks obtained and preference of Services expressed by them while applying for ESE 2021. On the basis of their performance in ESE 2021 Prelims, around 568 candidates qualified to write the ESE 2019 Mains. The qualified candidates include 213 candidates from Civil Engineering, 96 from Mechanical Engineering, 155 from Electrical and Telecommunication, and 104 from Electrical Engineering branch.

Interview Guidance Program for ESE-2020 announced.

UPSC has announced the results of Engineering Services Examination (ESE) Mains 2020 which was held on 18 October, 2020. 874 Students have qualified ESE Mains this year. 374 students from Civil Engineering (CE), 109 students from Mechanical Engineering (ME), 186 from Electrical Engineering (EE), and 205 from Electronics and Telecommunication (E&T) Branch.

Those who have qualified ESE Mains 2020, are now required to fill Detailed Application Form (DAF) which will be available on UPSC website. Candidates are further advised to visit UPSC website regularly because non-submission of the DAF within a certain time frame period will result in cancellation of the candidate by UPSC.

Now it’s time to prepare for the final phase of ESE 2020 i.e. the Personality Test or Interview phase, which is estimated to be held from November, 2020 onwards. The final interview letter from UPSC will be sent through post on the registered address of the candidate will be sent soon.

ESE interview stage carries a total of 200 marks, students’ performance in the interview may impact their All India Rank in the final list of ESE 2020 qualified candidates.

Technical/Personality Development/Current Affairs Session
