ENGINEERING SERVICES (PRE.) EXAMINATION, 2024 by UPSC is scheduled to be held on 18th February, 2024 (Sunday) and on 09th February, 2024 E-admit card has been released on https://upsc.gov.in/e-admit-cards and an important notice comprises instructions pertaining to the e-admit card was released on 08-february-2024. This year UPSC has specifically announced that paper admit card will be will not be issued from UPSC this year. Candidates are advised to take a print out of the admit card and preserve it till completion of the exam.
Some of the important instructions in relation to admit card are as follows:
- Important instructions to the candidates are mentioned on the admit card and same must be read minutely before the exam.
- A candidate, who does not produce his/her e-Admit Card for checking at the allotted venue, shall not be allowed to take the Examination.
- If any apparent error is found on the admit card, same must be communicated to the commission immediately by email to usengg-upsc@nic.in
- Candidates will be allowed only to the venue mentioned on the admit card, they will not be allowed at any other location.
- The entry of the candidates will be closed 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the Examination (in each Session).
- The candidates will be allowed to take with them only e-Admit Card, pen, pencil, identity proof, photographs, and any other items as specified in the Instructions of the e-Admit Card to the Venue. All items except mentioned above shall be kept outside the examination venue.
It is advisable to go through these before hand and be well equipped at the examination centre.
The steps to download the admit card from the UPSC website are as follows: –
Visit the official internet site, https://upsc.gov.in/
Step-1: Find “What’s new” segment on the homepage of the UPSC website
Step-2: Click on “e-admit card Engineering services 2024”.
Step-3: Proceed to the window where the option to download E-admit card either through Registration ID or Roll Number.
Step-4: Proceed to Login.
The UPSC ESE Admit Card 2024 might be shown on the display screen. Download the ESE Admit Card 2024 PDF and take a printout to hold at the exam centre.
