National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Limited, which is one of the country’s largest power companies, has announced its recruitment plan for inducting Engineering Executive Trainees on the basis of GATE 2018 scores. The young graduate engineering executive trainees will be hired from Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation and Mining disciplines.

NTPC will start inviting the online applications from 10 January, 2018. The recruitment drive will run for one month, and will end on 31 January, 2018. NTPC will shortlist eligible candidates on the basis of their performance in GATE 2018 exam. Once a candidate applies for GATE 2018 through GOAPS portal, he has to keep on referring the NTPC official website for further notifications regarding this recruitment drive, and to know about other details such as total number of vacancies, eligibility conditions, etc.
