Staff Selection Commission (SSC)  is an organization under Government of India to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices.

Remuneration :  Rs.9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs.4200/- (pre-revised).

Qualification: Degree or Diploma in -

(1) Civil Engineering

(2)  Mechanical Engineering

(3) Electrical Engineering

Minimum Percentage in Graduation : Not defined

Age Limit:

(1) GEN (UR) candidates : 18-32 years

(2) OBC (NCL) candidates : 3 years’ relaxation

(3) SC / ST candidates : 5 years’ relaxation

(4) PWD candidates : 10-15 years’ relaxation

Application Fee : RS. 100/-

 

Selection Procedure : Candidates will be shortlisted and recommended for appointment by the Commission on the basis of their total marks in the Paper – I & II and preference for the posts.
